PERFORMANCE BASED TRAINING

Overview

After years of sending employees to seminars, conventions and classroom training, many companies are realizing that the effectiveness and value of this “generic type” of  training has been marginal. Surveys have shown that very little of what gets taught in the classroom gets applied when the employee comes back to the workplace.

Learning increases an individual’s knowledge and skills.  Performance based training demonstrates a person’s competencies and their ability to remove obstacles and persist to achieve results.

Performance training was created to take training to a higher level with a focus on hands-on application of the techniques discussed in the classroom, and a follow-up plan that makes employees (and the trainer) accountable for results. Each training session is customized to fit the capabilities of the participants and the needs of the firm.
